The name Nemrac's Photos came about because I usually don't like the "norm" or "tradition". I didn't want to use my name followed by Photography. I like different but yet still clear as to know my name. See Nemrac spelled backwards is Carmen, Carmen's Photos = Nemrac's Photos.
I have been shooting since the 90’s back in college where I developed film in the darkroom. My passion for photography was always there as a child. I watched my uncle capture amazing photos. That’s how I learned to capture the world in it’s natural state, life as it is happening, to me is my greatest joy.
Energy is crucial. Knowing the client had a good night or good morning will display in the images. Meeting up and getting to know each another gives us a sense of what is expected. My job is to make you comfortable and free to express yourself as you wish your images to portray.
I am a New Yorker, born in Brooklyn and raised in The Bronx. NYC five boroughs have no limits to where and what I can shoot. NYC is a playground for me, best backdrops ever. I do travel to locations outside of New York.
What do I love to capture? Everything, nature, newborn, proposals, events, pets, maternity, portraits, engagements, non-traditional weddings. All of these offer a different joy, emotion and memory. The true essence is what I love capturing. I shoot everything.
